The Setting

Between Two Fires is set on a fictional island just off Saint Lucia’s western coast, and on the main island. It weaves a gripping tale of betrayal, revenge and murder against the backdrop of Saint Lucia’s glorious natural beauty and vibrant French Creole culture, and the foreign influences and values that have shaped the island over the years, and in some cases threaten to destroy it.

Check out a fantastic collage of sites and scenes in Saint Lucia at the website Anthroscape and stop by Candice Naiela’s superb blog  featuring highlights of her recent visit to the island.
